Program: Screen Guardian
 Author: Brent Stewart
Version: 3.00

Greetings Dragons! Here lies the latest release of the Screen
Guardian. I haven't had the time to replace the graphics YET, but
made some major improvements.

TO INSTALL:

Put the SCRNGRDN.SCR and GUARDIAN.TXT files into your windows
directory and the VBRUN300.DLL in your Windows/System directory
(providing it doesn't exist already). Now go to the Control Panel
group and load Desktop. Select Screen Guardian as your screen
saver. Clicking TEST will let you see the Screen Guardian in action.

Your screen should turn black and after about 20 seconds, the
Guardian will make his appearance and taunt you with 1 of 20+
Guardian taunts. During the course of time the screen saver is
active, the Guardian will pop up occasionally and taunt you.

SETUP OPTIONS:

From the Desktop screen, select SETUP, which will give you several
options. First option is "mouse locking". This is a feature I came up with
that more screen savers should include. It disables the check for
mouse movement, but continues to check for mouse button and
keyboard events. This is handy for when those people whole like to
come along and nudge your mouse to deactivate your screen saver. You
may still exit the screensaver by clicking or pressing a key on the
keyboard.

Also available are three modes of operation: Taunt (the original), bounce
(watch the guardian's head go bouncing all over the screen), and Splat
(bounce with some squishy effects).

Screen Guardian keeps its own unique password and is available for use now.

CUSTOMIZATION:

You can now customize the taunts by loading the GUARDIAN.TXT file into
notepad or any ASCII editor and editing them (one taunt to a line).

Please feel free to email me with any suggestions for Screen Guardian or
just to say hi to a fellow Dragon.
